SECTION 4 OF 5

Refund & Withdrawal Policy

Who this applies to. These rights apply to consumers. If you buy as a business, the statutory withdrawal right below does not apply to you.

1. One-time digital products (example: SnapSkill).
Digital products are delivered immediately after payment. At checkout you tick a box that says you (a) ask for immediate delivery and (b) acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the download or access begins (article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code). We email you a confirmation of that consent with your receipt. After delivery has begun, the purchase is final, except for the guarantees in section 4. If you do not tick the box, delivery waits until the 14-day withdrawal period ends.

2. Subscriptions (example: Iceberg Indicator, HalfOcoSL Execution Engine).
Your first subscription purchase comes with the legal 14-day withdrawal right. At checkout you ask for immediate access; if you withdraw within 14 days, you pay only for the days of access already used, and we refund the rest (article L221-25 of the French Consumer Code). To withdraw, use the form in section 6 or any unambiguous statement by email.
After those 14 days, and for every automatic renewal: cancel anytime in the Stripe Customer Portal; your access runs to the end of the period already paid; periods already started are not refunded pro rata, except where the law or section 4 says otherwise.

3. Free products (example: EOC).
No payment, so no refund applies. The product must still work as described; if it does not, contact us and we fix it.

4. Guarantees that always apply (whatever sections 1 and 2 say).
Nothing in this policy removes your legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (articles L224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code) or the hidden-defects guarantee (article 1641 of the Civil Code). If a product is defective or does not match its description, tell us: we first fix or replace it without cost; if we cannot within a reasonable time, you get a price reduction or a full refund. Duplicate charges and payment errors are always refunded in full.

5. Goodwill.
Outside the cases above, we may refund case by case, at our sole discretion. Asking costs nothing.

6. How to ask.
Email info@deflauxfactory.com with your order number (and, for a withdrawal, the sentence: “I hereby withdraw from my contract for [product], ordered on [date], [name], [email]”). We reply within 14 days. Refunds go back to your original payment method via Stripe.

7. Disputes.
If we cannot resolve a dispute together, you may use, free of charge, the consumer mediator we belong to: [NEEDS: mediator name, website, address]. French law applies; consumer protective provisions are reserved. The English text is a courtesy translation; the French version governs.
